BEHIND THE LENS

Hi. My name is Luke Sampson. I live in the UK and work full time as a teaching assistant in a school. I studied Forensics in University but somehow found myself surrounded by five year old children on a daily basis. I am also a comedian, both writing and performing comedy with my sketch group. I used to present a radio show where I would play different characters every week. Check out our videos on youtube.com.​

 

I have always had a camera. For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by photographs and how they capture a moment so perfectly. But as technology improves so does the definition of perfect so I also use a lot of Photoshop in post-production to add something extra to my work. I do believe that not all photography is glossy, focused works of art and some of my pictures lack a stylized finish in order to emphasize the situation.​
